Our courses are designed to help your company meet the following three conditions
Our Certification Courses are a must for a company wanting to satisfy the above three conditions.
Certification has it limitations,
Many companies believe that passing certification requirements is sufficient to have a well run lab. A requirement of certification is that the company has in place methods to ensure that certification requirements are maintained and reviewed throughout the period of certification. Certification exams can not completely test a technicians knowledge.
For Example:
Certification programs only test the technician's ability to pass the written procedures exam and practical testing exams. This does not ensure that the technician can properly handle all the details of CSA tests. This lack of knowledge can result in non-valid CSA test. Too often a technician is only shown how to preform the required CSA test, and studies only these test procedures. CSA requires more knowledge, ie how to recognize a deviation from the standard and the subsequent consequences of that deviation.
So what's missing? Technicians must report deviations as follows:
CSA A23.2-3C, section
11 Reporting
11.1 Required information
(r) any deviation from the test procedure.
Most certification programs do not provide or test the technician's knowledge regarding what constitutes a deviation from the test procedure.
Our courses cover topics in great detail, and at the same time preparing the technician's for the written certification exams.
